Does anyone know the length, upper bout & lower bout and depth dimensions on this guitar?

I have been interested in building something like this for a while now....Brock Poling38464.660625

Brock, all I could find was 15.5" at the lower bout. They seam to be a bit secretive with this info.

Secretive, yeah, I know.

Thanks for that piece. If can find a calibrated copier I might be able to infer the waist and upper bout knowing the 15.5"

But the depth will probably be just a guess unless I can find one somewhere....

using a set of dividers and the known dimension, the scale length, you can work all but the depth out if you draw it full size.crazymanmichael38464.7175462963

Brock..I have a half body profile, with dimensions, of the Martin 12 fret slotted head "dreadnought" if you would like a copy. I have built one of them...it's currently at Klein's Music in Sonoma CA. You can see a pic here: http://www.kleinguitars.com/mauel/mauelguitars.htm (scroll down that page) but it's not a slot head. Other than that, it's a Martin "clone".

Yeah Hank, would you mind sending me a tracing of that body? What scale length are you using.

Pop me an IM and I will pay pal you some coin for your trouble. Thanks!!!

Using the scale length from nut to 12th fret (25.375/2) as a guide, I just enlarged the low res Web pic to full size in CorelDraw and measured it on-screen.

Now, you have to take these numbers with a grain of salt, because the low rez image has fuzzy edges and there may be some foreshortening of the image due to the guitar not being perfectly square with the image plane, but with all that said I think the following are can be considered a reasonable guess:

Scale Length: 25.375
Upper Bout: 11.5
Lower Bout 15.625
Body Length: 21 inches
Sound Hole Diameter: 4.375

All in inches. If somebody runs across one of these and gets a chance to measure the actual instrument, I'd be curious to know whether my guess is a SWAG or just a WAG.Dennis E.38464.9419675926

Brock...I'll trace it Saturday and get it out to you. If I recall, from feeble memory, it was a 25.4" scale. I believe that's what Martin uses, too. Figured it could use the normal tension of medium gauge strings to help drive that top and pump the air around inside the box.
And nuts to any payment!

If it is based on the Martin, try this. Dennis is pretty right on. I think Mario builds one of these also.
